I only vaguely remember writing that comment (either way I stand by my comment, dude needs to get less props), I swear I do most things when I’m sleeping or something. I found a text message on my phone the other day which seems to imply I said something which I’m pretty sure I didn’t say. I think I’m part of a reality t.v show…..

It’s almost upon us, the most overrated night of the whole year.
Hope everyone has a good one, I’m off to London for the night to watch the fireworks. If it’s anything like last year, there will be about a million people lined up on the thames and hippies everywhere taking drugs. Oh well, beats going to the pub I guess so can’t complain too much.
Peace……………………………..
Ah here we go again….

I can’t believe it’s almost 2006. This year I will father my second child (but be a father to a third) and I will be 30 years old. 30. Whoa, indeed. I don’t have much to say this week. Been working like a crazy man doing crazy hours (the 4am - 1pm shift). I have two overtime days (one for this week, one for next) which makes me happy. I’m sleepy and hungry now so I’d just like to wish everyone a Happy, Prosperous, and Blessed New Year. More to come in the ‘06.

Hip-Hop
A random selection of some of the tracks that have been getting heavy rotation this year from me:
Geto Boys - G Code
In all honesty, i think this is probably still my favourite track of 2005. Face really comes correct on this, shame about the album though.
Juelz Santana - Mic Check
It’s all about that beat baby.
Klashnekoff - You (International Lover Remix)
From the best mixtape of 2005; “DJ Skully Presents Klashnekoff: Focus Mode”. For some reason I’m obsessed by this track, it’s one dope verse by an mc who continues to be slept on.
Klashnekoff - Mr K-Lash
The lead track of the aforementioned mixtape, Wu fans will recognise the beat straight away.
Common - Testify
A very close contender for my favourite track of 2005. That sample is downright genius and I’m still playing the hell out of it.
Common - Go
Again with the sample. This is why Kanye West needs to stop mcing (as he’s the most overrated mc going) and get back to producing.
Beanie Sigel - Feel It In The Air.
Definitely the best “lighters in the air” track of the year for me.
Randomness….
